Responsibilities: <p>The Assistant Coordinator (Lead) provides support to our House Coordinator, direct care to residents, and mentoring and training to Direct Support staff. In this role, you will assure active treatment, completion of personal cares, and the achievement of personal goals of clients receiving services.&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Weekly/monthly financial documentation,&nbsp;</li> <li>On-Site Training</li> <li>Tracking and arranging clients&rsquo; medical appointments</li> <li>Identifying and arranging extra-curricular activities</li> <li>Tracking and ordering medical supplies/general supplies/food stock&nbsp;</li> <li>Providing direct cares as needed</li> </ul> <br /> <p><strong>Locations and Schedules:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Richfield-Sunday, 10am-6pm/ Monday-Thursday, 1pm-9pm</li> <li>Eden Prairie, Monday-Friday, noon-8pm</li> <li>Other Minneapolis Metropolitan areas based on business need.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>High School diploma/equivalent preferred, post-secondary education preferred.</li> <li>At least six months of experience working with people who have developmental disabilities or related conditions preferred.</li> <li>Valid Minnesota Driver&rsquo;s License with acceptable record required.</li> <li>Ability to pass MN DHS background study.</li> <li>Commitment to promoting diversity, multiculturalism, and inclusion with focus on culturally responsive practice, internal self-awareness and reflection.</li> <li>Physical ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs. consistently.</li> </ul>
