Responsibilities: <p><strong>Job duties include:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Building and supporting mainframe, distributed systems or web-based systems.</li> <li>Serving as a team member in planning, designing, developing, implementing, and/or supporting moderately complex new or revised processes or systems.</li> <li>Developing estimates for project tasks, identifying potential impacts to project, and recommending alternative solutions.</li> <li>Utilizing IBM iSeries mainframe, distributed, and/or Web-based systems for design and development activities.</li> <li>Using operating systems, such as Windows, UNIX, AIX, Linux to support activities associated with application design and development.</li> <li>Developing database management systems, including IMS DB, DB2, Oracle, SQL Server to support application development.</li> <li>Using system development languages and tools, including CVS, Eclipse, JAVA, Javascript, J2EE, Hibernate, Spring, Struts, Servlet, and HTML/CSS to develop applications.</li> <li>Using PC fundamental tools, including MS Office to provide systems integration points with applications.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li>Job requires:Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration or a related field, or foreign equivalent education, and 2 years&rsquo; experience working in the IT field.&nbsp;&nbsp;2 years of experience is required in each of the following:</li> <li>Working with system operation practices, security and control procedures in web development.</li> <li>Structured systems analysis, design, programming and testing, using Web-based tools including Eclipse, JAVA, Javascript, J2EE, Hibernate, Spring, Struts.</li> <li>Use of iterative and rapid programming concepts and tools, including Eclipse and Struts.</li> <li>Use case requirements analysis to support testing of applications.</li> <li>Database development, JAVA-based web applications development, and HTML/CSS applications development.</li> </ul>
