Overview: As the Customer Service Specialist, you will be responsible for servicing the needs of Johnston & Murphy/ Trask customers and retail locations using excellent product knowledge and internal processes. The ideal candidate should have excellent verbal and written communication skills, the ability to manage their work and effectively multi task and must have a customer focused attitude to contribute to the success of the team.<br/><br/>
Responsibilities: <UL><LI>Handle incoming calls to process customer orders driven from catalog and web</LI><LI>Answer inquiries by phone or e-mail from customers, retail stores and other departments concerning orders, shipments and returns.</LI><LI>Meet individual and team customer focused goals</LI><LI>Provide timely feedback regarding system needs, process improvements, website issues or customer concerns</LI><LI>Act as an ambassador for the brand to the outside world; adheres to an appropriate and effective set of core values.</LI><LI>Effective communicator within the organization; build lasting and productive relationships with co-workers.</LI><LI>Make good decisions based on analysis and knowledge; works with a sense of urgency and moves issues to closure.</LI><LI>Assist with special projects within the organization </LI></UL>
Requirements: Experience and Skills You’ll Need to Have<UL><LI>Prior experience in customer service and/or sales related field</LI><LI>High school diploma or equivalent, some college preferred.</LI><LI>Proficient MS Office Applications</LI><LI>Ability to quickly learn new software and applications</LI><LI>Follow procedures in place with minimal error</LI><LI>Effective interpersonal skills </LI><LI>Must be able to work a scheduled shift between the hours of 7:00am and 9:00pm Monday - Friday and Saturday 8:00am to 5:00 pm. </LI></UL>
