Overview: <p class="p1">The&nbsp;<strong>IT Support Engineer</strong>, based in Aliso Viejo, CA will have the will oversee the daily performance of computer systems. Additionally, answer user inquiries regarding computer software or hardware operation to resolve problems from both our employees at headquarters and internationally. The role will require increasingly greater participation in IT project work. We are looking for an IT Support Engineer to provide exceptionally high quality, desktop, laptop and application support to internal users, and who will embrace professional growth by engaging in project work.</p>
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Develop training materials and procedures, or train users in the proper use of hardware or software</li> <li>Set up equipment for employee use, performing or ensuring proper installation of cables, operating systems, or appropriate software</li> <li>Install and perform minor repairs to hardware, software, or peripheral equipment, following design or installation specifications</li> <li>Maintain records of daily data communication transactions, problems and remedial actions taken, or installation activities</li> <li>Investigate and resolve problems or to provide technical assistance and support</li> <li>Welcome growth challenges by engaging in project work, while balancing desktop support.</li> <li>Refer major hardware or software problems or defective products to vendors or technicians for service</li> <li>Assist with onboarding of new employees</li> <li>Make recommendations of hardware and software for the organization</li> <li>Perform desktop and laptop system deployments including hardware and software configuration</li> <li>Provide regular updates on the status of tickets, open issues and projects</li> <li>Perform troubleshooting of supported desktop operation systems and applications</li> </ul> <br /> <p class="p2">&nbsp;</p>
