Our global headquarters is located in Aliso Viejo, California with additional locations in San Clemente, California and Burlington, Massachusetts.</p> <p><strong>How will you make an impact?</strong></p> <p>The Senior RBM is responsible for training and helping to integrate the iStent technology into their assigned practice. You will achieve quarterly sales objectives by selling to targeted ophthalmic surgeons within the assigned territory. The Senior RBM will attend surgeries and help the surgeon to achieve the desired surgical outcomes for the patient. The Senior RBM will achieve these standards by focusing on the customer while managing the territory for the best return on investment.&nbsp;</p>
Responsibilities: <ul><li>Prospecting by initiating sales calls to sell the surgeon on the Glaukos iStent and initiate surgical wet-labs to train the surgeon.</li><li>Attend the initial iStent surgeries until the surgeon is confident and skilled to perform the cases.</li><li>Attend surgeries as needed to update on new techniques to improve surgical outcomes.</li><li>Train the office staff and the doctor to recognize and convert patients to the iStent technology using Glaukos Practice System (GPS).</li><li>Work with the surgeon and staff to educate and assist in getting proper reimbursement for the Glaukos iStent.</li><li>Attend targeted meetings as directed to increase sales lead opportunities and protect existing business. </li></ul>
Requirements: Education: <ul> <li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree or equivalent experience. Concentration in Business or Marketing preferred.</li> </ul> <strong>Requirements:</strong><br /> <ul> <li>3 plus years of ophthalmic medical sales experience (either surgical or pharmaceutical).</li> <li>The preferred candidate would have both ophthalmic surgical and pharmaceutical experience.</li> <li>Experience developing and expanding new territories.</li> <li>Proven experience meeting and exceeding targeted goals.</li> <li>Ability to build relationships and interact with all levels.</li> <li>Ability to communicate with KOLs and surgeons both in the OR and outside.</li> <li>Proven ability to build and retain customer base.</li> <li>Experience with tracking CRM software.</li> <li>Ability to work within a budget.</li> <li>Ability to comply with procedures and processes.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Generous.
