Full Time

Overview: Assists with the planning, development and coordination of marketing for PACE (Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly); including activities to promote and maximize awareness of PACE within the community. Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Effective communication and problem solving skills.</li> <li>Assists with the design and development of sales and marketing materials, ensuring all materials are up to date.</li> <li>Ensures positive experience for potential enrollees, candidates, and their families for the PACE program.</li> <li>Delivery of all marketing material.</li> <li>Coordinates and attends recruitment activities and member processes.</li> <li>Plans and organizes internal and external marketing events.</li> <li>Supports the sales and marketing techniques utilized to outreach to diverse social and ethnic groups; and communicate effectively with them.</li> <li>Develop systems and procedures to efficiently track and trend all sales activity.</li> <li>Works closely, and regularly meets with the GVHC Marketing team, Outreach and Enrollment Manager and Director of Center Operations.</li> <li>Additional duties and responsibilities as required.</li> </ul>
Requirements: Physical Demands<br /> <ul> <li>Ability to lift up to 30 pounds. Moving, lifting or pushing greater than 30 pounds, should be done with assistance as appropriate.</li> <li>Must be able to hear staff on the phone and those who are served in-person, and speak clearly in order to communicate information to clients and staff.</li> <li>Must have vision with or without lenses that is adequate to read memos, a computer screen, personnel forms and clinical and administrative documents.</li> <li>Must have high manual dexterity.</li> <li>Must be able to reach above the shoulder level to work, must be able to bend, squat and sit, stand, stoop, crouching, reaching, kneeling, twisting/turning, fingering and feeling.</li> </ul> Work Environment<br /> <ul> <li>Potential exposure to biohazards, including infectious material and waste and any other conditions common in a health care environment.</li> <li>Subject to unpleasant odors.</li> <li>The noise level is usually quiet to moderate, but may at times be noisy and crowded.</li> </ul> Education/Experience Requirements<br /> <br />Minimum Qualifications<br /> <ul> <li>Work is varied and moderately complex, and requires a moderate degree of discretion and independent judgment.</li> <li>Must have strong communication and presentation skills, both oral and written.</li> <li>Proficient in Microsoft Office applications; advanced Microsoft Excel experience required.</li> <li>Strong interpersonal and sales skills.</li> <li>Must take and pass the State of California DHCS PACE and Medi-Cal Marketing Certification exam within 60 days of hire.</li> <li>Meet a standardized set of orientation and/or individual competencies for the specific position description established by Central Valley PACE and approved by CMS before working independently.</li> <li>Detail oriented, precise and well organized.</li> <li>Knowledge on how to create contacts and generate a referral source.</li> <li>Comfortable with monthly goals and productivity metrics.</li> <li>Current BLS CPR Card certified by the American Heart Association.</li> <li>Valid California Driver&rsquo;s License, acceptable driving record and vehicle insurance.</li> <li>Bilingual: Spanish/English, preferred.</li> <li>Knowledge of PACE marketing regulations (state and federal), preferred.</li> <li>Principles and practices of health care service delivery, managed care, health care systems, preferred</li> <li>Knowledge and/or experience with the senior care market, including competitors, regulations, and available resources, preferred.</li> </ul> Education/Experience<br /> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent.</li> <li>Minimum two (2) experience in healthcare outreach, enrollment, or marketing support with responsibility for events, community engagement, or referral development.</li> <li>Minimum two (2) years&rsquo; experience in health plan enrollment.</li> <li>Minimum one (1) year supervisory experience preferred.</li> <li>Minimum two (2) year experience working with seniors (professional and personal experience accepted).</li> <li>Experience with HMO, Medi-Cal/Medicaid, Medicare, and senior care related sales, preferred.</li> </ul>
