£19,800 per year

Overview: <p>A full time HR Administrator is required to give a full range of administration support on a variety of tasks and duties. You will liaise with managers, staff and candidates on a regular basis and build good working relationships with key stakeholders.</p> <p>This is a much sought after role and the successful candidate will have the opportunity for exposure on a variety on HR related issues thereby developing a wealth of knowledge and experience as the role progresses.<br /><br />Responsible to: HR Service Centre Team Leader</p> <p>Reportees: None<br /><br />Salary:&nbsp;&pound;19,800 per year, rising to &pound;20,124 per year after successful completion on 9 month probation period and 12 month continuous service.<br /><br />Pension:&nbsp;As required under pension reform legislation you will be automatically enrolled into a personal pension scheme (Legal &amp; General) where Hestia will match your personal contributions up to a maximum of 5% of your salary. Your initial contributions will be at 1%, if you wish to increase up to 5% or opt out of the scheme, please contact our payroll department.<br /><br />Hours of work:&nbsp;39 per week on average&nbsp;<br /><br />Holidays:&nbsp;195 hours per year, plus 62.4 hours public holidays. Our holiday year runs from April until March.&nbsp;<br /><br /><br /><br /><br /></p>
Responsibilities: This key role is to provide efficient and accurate administrative support to the team, staff and candidates. It is an excellent opportunity for the right person to develop skills in working within an office environment and developing administrative work skills within the Human Resources setting.<br /><br /> <ul> <li>To assist/provide support in the research, co-ordination and administration of HR shared services systems.</li> <li>To administer/support the implementation and operational training on these systems.</li> <li>To create/produce regular reports for monitoring and management purposes from these systems as well as various monthly reports</li> <li>To administer and track the return (where relevant) of the complete on-boarding process from offer stage including offer letters, contracts, pre-employment meetings, references, DBS requests, right to work checks and starter packs</li> <li>To assist the Team with recruitment projects as required including recruitment open days and events.</li> <li>To set up all new starters in our HR software package and time management system.</li> <li>To calculate new starters annual leave allowance and record the allowance in our time management system.</li> <li>To ensure all HR files are accurate and up to date.</li> <li>To input all people confirmation in post information into the HR systems in readiness to support payroll cut off dates.</li> <li>To produce employee internal change correspondence</li> <li>To remove leavers from our time management system and archive their electronic files accordingly.</li> <li>Ensure employee files are up to date with all relevant documentation scanned in a timely manner.</li> <li>To monitor (and chase if need be) all outstanding Sickness Certification from Managers and or staff.</li> <li>Oversee monthly Central Induction and ensure all administrative tasks relating to this are completed promptly.</li> <li>To reply to and or forward on, all general HR emails and telephone calls.</li> </ul>
