Overview: <p>Hestia&rsquo;s newly enlarged fundraising team which is on a very exciting journey to make a real difference to our service users. We have a newly created role for a Partnership Manager looking to work with some of the largest UK corporate partners such as HSBCs and Hogan Lovells.</p> <p>You would be working with exciting new partnerships as well as engaging with corporates and individuals as well as manage events and leading on stewardship program.</p> <p>We offer flexible working hours (our core hours are 10-4) with the option to regularly work from home.</p> <p>We welcome applications from candidates with lived experience.<br /><br /></p> <p><strong>VISION</strong>: Our vision is &lsquo;Empowering people, changing lives&rsquo;. We take great pride in the work that we do each day and in the values that strengthen our ethos.<br /><br /></p> <p><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Person specification:</span></strong></p> <ul> <li>Previous experience in building relationships and raising money from corporate and philanthropic partnerships</li> <li>Tractable experience of successful relationship building within the voluntary sector</li> <li>Skilled influencer with the ability to resolve complex opportunities.</li> <li>Good attention to detail in all aspects of work e.g. maintaining accurate records, grammar etc.</li> <li>Ability to develop strong, high quality proposals and monitoring reports tailored to funders requirements and criterion.</li> <li>Ability to manage a wide range of stakeholder and donor relationships using a wide range of communication methods e.g. in person, websites, social media and newsletters.</li> <li>Ability to work under pressure, respond to priorities that may change at short notice and meet demanding deadlines.</li> <li>Numerate with experience of preparing budgets.</li> <li>Empathy with and understanding of Hestia&rsquo;s charitable causes.</li> <li>Skilled in use of MS Office packages, particularly MS Word, Excel, Publisher and Powerpoint.</li> </ul> <p><br />If you want to do an ASYE and you fit the criteria Hestia will support you to join our existing programme.</p> <p><br />In return we offer a competitive salary, a supportive working environment and a host of benefits including pension, employee discounts, 25 days holiday per annum (for full-time positions) plus the option to buy an additional 3 weeks, cycle to work scheme and season ticket loan.<strong><br /><br />MAIN PURPOSE OF POST</strong>: To build relationship with our existing and new corporate and philanthropic supporters.</p> <p><strong>Hours: </strong>39 hours per week</p> <strong>Working Pattern: </strong>Monday to Friday, 9am until 5:18pm. Willing and able to work occasional evenings and weekends.<br /><br /><strong>Terms and Conditions</strong><br /> <ul> <li>Salary:&pound;39,840 per year, rising to &pound;40,656 per year after successful completion on 9 month probation period and 12 month continuous service.</li> <li>Pension:As required under pension reform legislation you will be automatically enrolled into a personal pension scheme (Legal &amp; General) where Hestia will match your personal contributions up to a maximum of 5% of your salary. Your initial contributions will be at 1%, if you wish to increase up to 5% or opt out of the scheme, please contact our payroll department.</li> <li>Hours of work:39 per week on average</li> <li>Holidays:195 hours per year, plus 62.4 hours public holidays. Responsibilities: <strong>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong><br /> <ul> <li>Maintain all relationships with existing corporate and individual relationships as well as create opportunities for new partnerships where possible</li> <li>Develop effective cases for support</li> <li>Work with the Big Give scheme to raise money for Hestia&rsquo;s services</li> <li>Research and develop Charity of the Year Partnerships</li> <li>Develop and maintain a regular stewardship program including one to one meeting and events</li> <li>Prepare and write regular progress reports for the Senior Management Team.</li> <li>Contribute to the development, planning and implementation of the fundraising strategy.</li> <li>Work closely with everyone across the organisation to</li> <li>Keep up to date with funding needs and operational developments through regular meetings with managers in the Operations Directorate.</li> <li>Become fully conversant with the functions of Donor Perfect</li> <li>Maintain accurate and up-to-date records on the Donor Perfect database, ensuring that records are up to date and that all new grants/donations and correspondence have been entered.</li> <li>Participate and ensure effective administrative services to support and monitor our fundraising activities. This includes mail-merging, coding of donor records, ensuring income is recorded accurately, mailing documents and thanking donors</li> <li>Keep abreast of developments in fundraising and the sector</li> <li>Contribute new ideas for fundraising and identify suitable funding initiatives, and calls for proposals</li> <li>Participate in the day to day work of the organisation &ndash; such as reporting, attending team, management and Board meetings as required, and taking a flexible approach to general administrative and support tasks</li> <li>To take on other reasonable tasks and functions as requested by the Head of Fundraising</li> </ul>
