Overview: <strong><strong>Ideal Candidate Profile:<br /></strong></strong> <ul> <li>Two to four years of experience providing network account management, monitoring, maintenance, troubleshooting and support of enterprise level hardware/software solutions for network servers, storage systems, backup systems, personal computers, peripherals and end user devices.</li> <li>Two to four years managing complex enterprise technology projects in accordance with a formal project management methodology.</li> <li>Two to four years developing, editing, and presenting technical designs, project plans and other technical reports.</li> <li>Valid Florida Driver&rsquo;s License and ability to operate vehicle to deliver, pickup, install and/or troubleshoot equipment issues.</li> <li>Microsoft and/or VMware Certifications</li> <li>Two to four years of experience administering, troubleshooting and supporting SCCM 2012, VDI, active directory/group policy in an Enterprise Resource environment</li> </ul> <p>We offer much more than the competitive pay you expect. Employees can select from three health care plan options. Coverage is effective the first of the month following 60 days of employment.</p> <p><strong><u>Dental Insurance:</u></strong> Employees are eligible to enroll in the dental coverage and choose from four options: High DMO, Low DMO, a network Open Access Plan, and a PPO. Coverage is effective the first of the month following 30 days of employment.</p> <p><strong><u>Vision Care:</u></strong> Employees and their dependents are eligible to enroll in the vision coverage. Co-payment coverage includes exams, lens and frame, as well as an allowable contact lens expense. Coverage is effective the first of the month following 30 days of employment.</p> <p><strong><u>Employee Assistance Program:</u></strong> This program provides all employees and family members with professional, confidential counseling sessions. All employees and dependents are afforded up to six (6) free visits per Plan year. Coverage begins on the first day of employment.</p> <p><strong><u>Tuition Reimbursement:</u></strong> Employees may be reimbursed up to $1,000 (undergraduate), $2000 (graduate) per fiscal year for classes at an accredited college or university for courses that enhance your ability to perform your current job duties.</p> <p><strong><u>Holidays:</u></strong> Employees receive up to 12 paid holidays per year.</p> <p><strong><u>Veteran&rsquo;s Preference:</u></strong> Do you qualify for Veteran's Preference? Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Performs server and computer builds, installing multi-platform operating systems &amp; applications, and deploying through automation. Performs configuration, optimizing, monitoring, and system backups for enterprise network servers, storage systems, backup systems, personal computers, peripherals and end user devices.</li> <li>Performs remedial troubleshooting for hardware and software systems, preventative/remedial maintenance, patching and upgrades for enterprise network servers, storage systems, backup systems, personal computers, peripherals and end user devices.</li> <li>Provides Tier-2 and Tier-3 technical support for escalated complex issues in supporting systems related to enterprise network servers, storage systems, backup systems, personal computers, peripherals and end user devices.</li> <li>Performs project management duties on routine technology projects in accordance with established project management methodology. Acts as team technical liaison for externally managed technology projects originating from the Enterprise Project Management Office as well as other Departments.</li> <li>Performs data backup and restores of server applications, databases and user data files.&nbsp; Performs tape management duties.</li> <li>Performs user account management functions.&nbsp; Creates, deletes or transfers user accounts and manages access control based on enterprise policies and procedures.</li> <li>Performs as supervisor to subordinate technical personnel engaged in performance of installation, maintenance and support of hardware and software systems. Provides mentoring and training to peers and subordinates.</li> <li>Works with vendors, clients, and other technical staff to resolve technical issues related to vendor-specific supported infrastructure.</li> <li>Develops, edits, and presents, technical designs, network diagrams, project plans and other technical reports.</li> <li>Other duties as assigned.</li> </ul> <strong>Work Category:</strong><br /> <ul> <li><strong>Medium work&nbsp;- </strong>Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <strong><strong>Minimum Requirements:<br /></strong></strong> <ul> <li>Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree from an accredited college or university with a major an information technology or related engineering field. And Two years of&nbsp; experience troubleshooting and supporting of enterprise level hardware/software solutions for servers, storage systems, backup systems, personal computers, peripherals, end user devices, and providing network access control, network and email account management.</li> </ul> <strong>OR</strong> <br /> <ul> <li>Any equivalent combination of education, training and experience that would reasonably be expected to provide the job related competencies indicated as part of this position description.</li> </ul> <strong>Physical Requirements:<br /></strong> <ul> <li>Speaking, Vision, Hearing, Sitting, Standing, Use of Office Machinery such as PCs, Smart Phones, Tablets, Calculators and Multi-Function Devices. Ability to lift end-user hardware up to 30 pounds.</li> </ul> <strong>Job Specifications:</strong> <ul> <li>Knowledge of industry project methodologies and use of documentation platforms for project and technical documentation.</li> <li>Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory and Exchange email account management and access control: creating, deleting, transferring user network and email accounts and granting user access based on County policies.</li> <li>Knowledge of industry standards, characteristics, features and troubleshooting methods associated with network server x86 platforms and virtual servers running Windows and Linux operating systems, server based applications, network storage systems and enterprise level backup systems.</li> <li>Knowledge of industry standards, features and troubleshooting methods of computers, end user devices, desktop operating systems, end-user applications, industry standard office productivity suites and desktop management software associated with personal computers, peripheral, and end-user devices.</li> <li>Ability to organize, prioritize and manage projects, tasks and time to meet delivery dates.</li> <li>Ability to develop, edit, and present technical designs, network diagrams, project plans and other technical reports.</li> <li>Ability to troubleshoot complex hardware/software technical issues associated with enterprise network servers, storage systems, backup systems, personal computers, peripherals and end user devices.</li> <li>Ability to work effectively with others and provide superior customer service to end-users.</li> <li>Work effectively with others and provide superior customer service to end-users.</li> <li>Project professionalism and be a role model to peers and subordinate positions.</li> <li>Communicate effectively both written and orally to end-users, vendors, management, and peers.</li> </ul>
