Employees can select from three health care plan options. Coverage is effective the first of the month following 60 days of employment.</li> <li><strong>Dental Insurance:&nbsp;</strong>Employees are eligible to enroll in the dental coverage and choose from four options: High DMO, Low DMO, a network Open Access Plan, and a PPO. Coverage is effective the first of the month following 30 days of employment.</li> <li><strong>Vision Care:&nbsp;</strong>Employees and their dependents are eligible to enroll in the vision coverage. Co-payment coverage includes exams, lens and frame, as well as an allowable contact lens expense. All employees and dependents are afforded up to six (6) free visits per Plan year. Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Administers prescribed medication; establishes and updates patient medical and nursing care plans.&nbsp;</li> <li>Maintains and evaluates participant's medical records and reports.&nbsp;Performs administrative case management, review reports, and evaluates services rendered.</li> <li>Monitors participant's vital signs, symptoms and therapy reactions.</li> <li>Supervises health care provided by licensed practical nurses, nursing assistants and nursing students.</li> <li>Supervises the maintenance of a clean and sanitary patient health care environment.</li> <li>Provides information staff committees and trains individual staff on improving clients care needs and direct safe care services.</li> <li>Prepares and maintains patient&rsquo;s medical records and reports.</li> <li>Performs physical examinations and health care screenings.</li> <li>Performs other related duties as required.</li> </ul> <h5>Note: The following duties are illustrative and not exhaustive. Requirements: <ul> <li>Possession of a valid State of Florida Registered Nurse license; and</li> <li>Bachelor's degree in Health or Social Services, or a related field; and</li> <li>One year of staff supervisory experience in a social services or health care services setting, and a minimum of one year of experience in providing services to persons who have dementia; and</li> <li>Possession of a valid Driver License.</li> </ul> <p>PHYSICAL DEMANDS</p> <ul> <li>The position requires moving quickly and intermittent throughout the day including activities of walking, standing, and sitting.&nbsp;</li> <li>Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, stretch, and reach.</li> <li>Periodically assist with movement of participants or supplies exerting up to 45 lbs.</li> <li>Position requires ability to assist with maneuvering a wheelchair or assisting seniors with limited mobility.</li> <li>Ability to talk, hear, see, read and move arms and hands, use of the phone and computer.&nbsp;</li> <li>Ability to lead senior activities; such as exercise classes &amp; moving to music.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p>WORK ENVIRONMENT</p> <ul> <li>Position will work out of all four Adult Day Care Centers.&nbsp;Primarily working in an activity or multi-purpose room.&nbsp;</li> <li>RN assists in facilitating senior activities, assisting frail seniors with toileting needs, serving a midday pre-plated meal and taking client's monthly blood pressures and weights.</li> <li>Travel will be required for marketing, training, direct care services, special events and meetings.&nbsp;</li> <li>Work environment requires candidate to multi-task, the ability to work in an area with noise in the background and assist seniors with Alzheimer&rsquo;s/dementia throughout the day.</li> </ul>
