Overview: The Oracle EBS Developer position will be a key player in the modernization, support and management of the County's Enterprise Resource Planning, Time and Attendance and Business Intelligence systems. Position will work with management staff in the Enterprise Solutions and Quality Assurance department and in County departments to gather requirements, design and develop new business solutions, security functions, peer reviews, reports, provide configuration management support, implement system upgrades and work directly with the hosted services provider to resolve issues.<br /><br />Visit our Benefits page for more exciting details.
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Provide day to day operational and maintenance support for the current Oracle E-Business Suite, Kronos, and Oracle Learning Management production support including security functions. This would include troubleshooting issues, workflows, AME, patch management, sub ledger accounting issues, system administrative functions, performance tuning of custom code, coordinate testing and validation of applied patches, instance management, etc.</li> <li>Lead technical and functional efforts on projects, partner with business and functional support users to gather requirements, design, develop, document, created and execute test scripts and implement solutions.</li> <li>Designing and developing custom views and reports in oracle E-Business Suite, as well as assisting in development of reports and dashboards using oracle Business Intelligence (OBIEE); and SQL Developer.</li> <li>Designing, developing and maintaining external interfaces and data conversions between other systems.</li> <li>Analyze reports and suggest improvements on data storage and cleanup.</li> <li>Backup functional/technical support resource for Telestaff.</li> <li>Supports and maintains Oracle E-Business Suite applications, interfaces, and workflows for Hillsborough county. Works collaboratively with departments, program managers, and support staff to understand issues, develop, test, document and implement solutions. analyzes and troubleshoots system issues in a timely manner.</li> <li>Works with departments and others in the support departments to understand and document project requirements, create project schedules, and lead projects. Performs design, development and implements solutions within the Oracle applications according to project requirements</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Analytics or related field (Job related work experience can be substituted for education)</li> <li>Three (3) years or more of experience developing solutions for Oracle EBS with experience covering the following areas: SQL and PLSQL, Reports, Oracle Interface Tables, APEX and JDeveloper; <strong>AND</strong></li> <li>Three (3) years or more Oracle E-Business Functional/Technical Support Advanced SQL skills, with experience querying large data sets from multiple sources and developing automated reporting.</li> </ul> <strong>Job Specifications</strong><br /> <ul> <li>Critical Thinking: Moderately Complex: Problems are complicated, varied and seldom related to those seen before.
