Overview: Provides leadership toward the development and implementation of comprehensive communication/education plans and strategies that increase engagement, awareness and understanding of the County&rsquo;s enterprise programs as developed and instituted by the County Administrator and Senior Staff.&nbsp; Utilizes innovative communication methodologies and strategies in order to facilitate large-scale/organizational change throughout the County and across multiple business units and/or departments.&nbsp; Responsible for establishing and managing internal communications as an integral function to the adoption of the County&rsquo;s programs and enterprise solutions that work to align the organization. Serves as an expert on communicating change within the organization and across business units.&nbsp; Works to identify audiences and appropriate communications tools/tactics/vehicles for delivering key messages throughout the organization. Serves as consultant to County Administrator departments.&nbsp; Works closely with the public relations and marketing staff to align messaging and programming as well as to execute programs and promote the communication functions within the organizational structure of County government. Requirements: <h2>IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE</h2> <div>Bachelor's Degree or Associate&rsquo;s degree preferred in communications, public administration, organizational communication or a related field or any equivalent combination of education, training and experience that would reasonably be expected to provide the job-specific&nbsp;competencies. A high degree of analytic ability and inductive thinking is required to devise new, non-standard approach to highly intricate, technically complex problems.&nbsp; Independent judgement is required to recommend departmental or County objectives, evaluate new approaches to problem solving, and assess changing facts or conditions.
