Responsibilities: <ul> <li>This position is primarily responsible for the preparation, seasoning, and cooking of soups, meats, vegetables, and other food items for consumption in our steakhouse restaurant.</li> <li>Able to perform fine dining and ethnic a la minute preparations.</li> <li>Possesses advanced knife skills and kitchen equipment skills.</li> <li>Has complete understanding of server and front of the house interaction to expedite food for guests.</li> <li>Able to follow intricate recipes.</li> <li>Communicates ingredient needs to supervisor.</li> <li>Observes and tests foods being cooked by tasting, smelling, and piercing with fork to determine that it is cooked.</li> <li>Perform any reasonable, temporarily assigned job duties outside the position&rsquo;s job description, where, in the Company&rsquo;s judgment, those duties are necessary in the interest of efficiency, productivity, or guest service.</li> <li>Perform duties in a safe manner; report any potential safety hazards to management staff.</li> <li>Work within the quality control guidelines established by Penn National Gaming and Hollywood Casino Aurora.</li> <li>Demonstrate an ability and commitment to deliver quality guest service to external and internal guests.</li> <li>Follow all safety rules.</li> <li>Adhere to departmental quality standards.</li> </ul>
