Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Maintain front desk reception area including opening and closing the office</li> <li>Responsible for the data entry in the HRIS system</li> <li>Operate a multi-line phone</li> <li>Maintain databases including records of counsel and terminations</li> <li>Assist walk-in applicants and review applications for completeness</li> <li>Assist in completion of new hire paperwork, and ensure paperwork and disclosures are complete</li> <li>Create and distribute the orientation list to training coordinator</li> <li>Collect and complete Forms I-9</li> <li>Communicate benefits eligibility to team members</li> <li>Create and maintain employee personnel folders in accurate and timely manner</li> <li>Sort and distribute department mail and faxes</li> <li>Complete employee verification requests</li> <li>File personnel paperwork on a regular basis</li> <li>Order office supplies</li> <li>Distribute exit surveys, paperwork, and last paychecks for terminated team members</li> <li>Process Illinois Gaming Board badges for team members</li> <li>Assist Human Resources team with administrative and human resources related duties</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Must be 21 years of age</li> <li>HS Degree or equivalent work experience related to the nature of the position</li> <li>Above average computer skills and be fluent in Microsoft office Media (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)</li> <li>Ability to work with various levels of the organization to develop and influence the culture</li> <li>Excellent organizational skills, presentation skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively</li> <li>Exceptional customer service focus</li> </ul>
