Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Promote and maintain all steps of the Eye, hi, Goodbye program with each patron and employee you may come in contact with (eye contact, hi- greeting, goodbye as a departure).</li> <li>Troubleshoot and repair any and all related equipment, including all circuit boards, without assistance.</li> <li>Responsible for the initial set-up and checkout of new machines of all types, ensures the machines are in proper working condition.</li> <li>Performs repairs and preventative maintenance of all slot machines, and other technical equipment or operations related equipment, including cleaning machines and overhauls.</li> <li>Answer service calls and notify proper personnel to service customer if the Technician cannot address the problem.</li> <li>Maintain the integrity of the operation and related equipment and secure all company assets and property at all times.</li> <li>Responsible for the security of keys, radio, changer remote control and data system cards from check-in to check-out.</li> <li>Responsible for completing all regulatory and company operational logs/forms correctly; i.e., meal logs, conversion forms, conversion checklist forms.</li> <li>Work with Slot Tech Manager and Slot Attendants to insure that the slot machines, associated equipment and data system monitoring equipment are in proper working order and all customer needs are satisfied.</li> <li>Complete slot machine meter logs, parts logs, etc.</li> <li>Performs renovations to slot machines.</li> <li>Tag repairable parts noting appropriate information.</li> <li>Circulate through the assigned area replacing broken or burned out bulbs, etc.</li> <li>Will advise Technician Manager in developing/teaching advanced electronic repairs.</li> <li>Assist patrons by explaining how the slot machines and pays, directions and other requests.</li> <li>Other duties may be assigned.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <br /> <ul> <li>Minimum 21 years of age.</li> <li>High school diploma or equivalent.</li> <li>Minimum of 1000 hours of formal training in electronics.</li> <li>Must possess a thorough understanding of electronics and display including OHMS Law, Trans Theory, Micro Theory, computer systems and networks video monitor circuitry and basic computer programming; appropriate electronic schooling and have mechanical aptitude.</li> <li>Two years of formal electronics education and/or five years of practical related experience required.</li> <li>Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.</li> <li>Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.</li> <li>Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.</li> <li>Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.</li> <li>Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.</li> <li>Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.</li> <li>Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.</li> <li>Must be licensed with the Maine Gambling Control Board.</li> <li>Physically mobile with reasonable accommodations including ability to push, pull, carry and lift up to 25 lbs., and the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, stack, crouch, kneel and balance when performing job duties in varying work areas such as confined spaces</li> </ul>
