Responsibilities: <ul><li>Responsible for fostering a fun environment</li><li>Responsible for being a gracious host to all guests and co-workers</li><li>Responsible for promoting a positive influence in the community and participating in company-sponsored events</li><li>Performs Generalist duties of employee selection, placement, training, development, compensation, benefits, employee & labor relations, health and safety.</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned</li><li>Manage and resolve employee relations issues.</li><li>Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations in employee/labor relations cases, harassment, or EEOC issues.</li><li>Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, increase productivity and retention.</li><li>Consults with management regarding interpretation and administration of human resource policies, programs, procedures and compliance with applicable state/federal statutes and regulations.</li></ul>
Requirements: <ul><li>Must have an outgoing, energetic and enthusiastic attitude</li><li>Must enjoy hosting others - Must be comfortable initiating conversations and creating a fun environment with our guests</li><li>Minimum three years work experience in a customer service environment or equivalent combination of education and work experience. </li><li>Previous human resources experience preferred.</li><li>Previous work experience in employee and/or labor relations desired</li><li>Experience designing and delivering training curriculum desired</li><li>Ability to research and gather data from the internet and other sources, compile information, and prepare reports</li><li>Ability to create, compose, and edit written materials</li><li>Must be proficient in Microsoft applications (Excel, Access, Word)</li><li>Strong analytical skills</li><li>Physically mobile with reasonable accommodations including ability to push, pull, carry and lift up to 25 lbs., and the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, stack, crouch, kneel and balance when performing job duties in varying work areas such as confined spaces</li></ul>
