Responsibilities: <ul> <li>This position is responsible for providing a high level of customer service and promoting a positive attitude to create a fun and entertaining experience for our guests and team members.</li> <li>Train team members in established methods and procedures and update all team members on new Policies and Procedures.</li> <li>Responsible to supervise team members engaged in work activities of the various Operations&rsquo; areas.</li> <li>Create maintenance requests by filling out work orders.</li> <li>Control and account for all housekeeping keys as per standards.</li> <li>Review workflow, staffing levels, and assign work to staff.</li> <li>Conduct/Monitor daily shift meetings with staff to communicate marketing promotions, company news updates and policy/procedure changes</li> <li>Investigate and help resolve guest complaints or concerns in accordance with company and departmental policies and procedures.</li> <li>Delegate emergency and non-emergency calls of housekeeping as needed.</li> <li>Conduct daily performance reviews for all areas through hands on supervision.</li> <li>Monitor attendance and take corrective action as needed.</li> <li>Schedule department staff for proper coverage in all areas according to business needs.</li> <li>Administer frontline reviews.</li> <li>Motivate top performance through positive coaching and administer corrective counseling when necessary.</li> <li>Inventory departmental supplies/uniforms and requisition as needed for all areas.</li> <li>Other duties as assigned.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <strong>QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS</strong><br />To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.<br /> <br /><strong>EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE</strong><br />Equivalent to a high school diploma with 2&ndash;3 years management experience in a guest service environment and a working knowledge of excel, word, and outlook are required. Knowledge of professional housekeeping procedures is required. This position is responsible for providing a high level of guest service and promoting a positive attitude to create a fun and entertaining experience for our guests and team members. Must understand and speak the English language.<br /> <br /><strong>LANGUAGE SKILLS</strong><br />Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other team members of the organization. Must be able to read and write in English and have good verbal communicating skills.<br /> <br /><strong>REASONING ABILITY</strong><br />Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed and complex written and oral instructions. Ability to solve difficult problems.<br /> <br /><strong>PHYSICAL DEMANDS</strong><br />While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to talk and hear. The team member frequently is required to stand and walk. The team member is occasionally required to sit; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, and crouch. The team member must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The team member requires manual dexterity to operate all necessary equipment. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and distance. Must be able to push and pull carts and equipment weighing up to 250 lbs occasionally.
