Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Prepare and set dining room and service areas according to BEO and department standards.</li> <li>Greet guests and answer questions regarding food items, beverages and service.</li> <li>Ensures all course and beverages are served promptly. This included plated, buffet style or family style events.</li> <li>Maintain a professional appearance at all times, clean and well groomed as per standards.</li> <li>May present, open and pour wine.</li> <li>Assist with break down of salad dishes, glassware and linen.</li> <li>Follow all policy and procedures according to company and department.</li> <li>Maintains all work areas (cleanliness and safety) throughout shift, responsible for closing duties according to department standards.</li> <li>Maintains the highest standards of professionalism to guests and co-workers.</li> <li>Work quickly and under minimum supervision.</li> <li>Lift, carry, pull and push a maximum of 30 pounds.</li> <li>Other duties as assigned.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Work quickly and under minimal or independent supervision.</li> <li>Lift, carry push and pull in excess of 75 lbs.</li> <li>Maintain excellent relations with co-workers.</li> <li>Communicate both verbally and written in English.</li> <li>Ability to focus and maintain attention and complete tasks despite frequent stressful, emergency, critical or unusual interruptions.</li> <li>Interact in courteous, professional and rapid manner with all guest and staff.</li> <li>Respond quickly to all guest or staff requests.</li> <li>Perform a variety of duties, often changing from one task to another without loss of efficiency or composure.</li> <li>Maintain safe, clean and organized work areas and storage facilities.</li> <li>Must be able to stand and exert fast paced mobility for periods of up to 4 hours in length.</li> <li>Must have a good sense of balance, be able to bend and kneel.</li> <li>Ability to be self directed and make decisions.</li> <li>Ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays as business needs dictate.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> </ul>
