Responsibilities: Great part time opportunity for those who like to keep busy and who enjoy working independently!<br />$17/hour premium pay for working weekends!<br /> <br />Hollywood Casino Lawrenceburg offers Team Members:<br /><ul>$500 Sign on Bonus</li>Referral Bonus Program</li>Discounts at Hollywood & Grind, Barstool Sports Bar, The Eatery and The Final Cut</li>15% discount at the Barstool Store</li>Hotel discounts at all PENN properties for team members</li>Shoes for Crews discount</li>Discounts to local area attractions</li>Employee recognition program partnering with Amazon</li>401k program with employee matching</li>Pre Employment Friendly!!</li></ul> <br /><ul><li>Adheres to all departmental and property policies and procedures regarding guest service standards. </li><li> Deep cleans and stocks all men’s restrooms daily. </li><li> Cleans slot machines, in between machines, ash trays, slot bases, trash cans, restrooms, offices, public areas, windows and ledges, restaurants, lighting, walls, counter tops, furniture, and any other decorative objects in the casino or common areas. </li><li>Vacuums carpet, sweeps and mops tile floors, and cleans any spills that occur. </li><li> Cleans up any biohazardous materials according to established guidelines. </li><li> Removes trash from trash containers and disposes according to procedure. </li><li> Familiar with the proper use of cleaning solutions and equipment. </li><li> Replaces toilet tissue and refills paper towel dispensers. </li><li> Cleans and polishes all furniture, marble, brass fixtures, brass floor plates, entrance door brass, and kick door brass plates. </li><li> Cleans all escalators and elevators. </li><li> Knows where all facilities in the casino are located. </li><li> Straightens chairs as needed. </li><li> Removes glasses, cups, paper, and debris from all assigned areas, per procedure. </li><li>Responsible for back stocking supplies and securing supplies when they arrive. </li><li>Performs miscellaneous cleaning tasks as needed: cleans vents, high dusts, wipes walls, etc. </li><li> Provides positive communication and uses Red Carpet Training skills with every patron and co-worker. </li><li> Performs duties in a safe manner; reports any potential safety hazards to management staff. </li><li>Performs any reasonable, temporarily assigned job duties outside the position’s job description, where, in the Company’s judgment, those duties are necessary in the interest of efficiency, productivity, or guest service. </li><li> Adheres to all regulatory, departmental, and company policies and procedures. </li><li>Maintains strict confidentiality in all company matters.</li></ul>
Requirements: <ul><li>Must be at least 18 years of age. </li><li>High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. </li><li> Previous housekeeping or janitorial experience preferred, but not required. </li><li> Willingness to learn and follow direction. </li><li> Must be able to operate equipment, including vacuum cleaners, floor machines, carpet extractors, mop, and broom. </li><li> Must perform duties with a sense of urgency. </li><li> Ability to maintain a high level of energy and take a proactive and strategic approach to issues. </li><li> Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with team members at all levels of the organization. </li><li> Must be able to read, write legibly, understand, and speak English. </li><li> Ability to tolerate second-hand smoke, noise, and bright lights. </li><li> Ability to work at a fast pace in often crowded/noisy environment. </li><li>Must meet professional appearance standards as prescribed by company policy. </li><li>Available to work required schedule which may include nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed. </li><li> Employee is regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to walk; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear. </li><li> The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.</li></ul>
