Responsibilities: <ul><li>Prepares chip fills, credits, and transfers. </li><li> Processes employee transactions and tokes. </li><li>Verifies the daily drops for the Count Room. </li><li> Monitors and maintains the NRT, MiMO, and Coin Max machines.</li><li> Processes buys for Cage Cashier. Keeps drawer appropriately stocked throughout the current shift and for the next shift. </li><li> Balances cash drawers. Ensures that the drawers are at the appropriate impress total at the beginning and end of each shift. </li><li>Prepares daily bank deposits. </li><li> Runs necessary reports to balance. </li><li> Maintains Cage equipment. </li><li>Completes all necessary paperwork according to procedure: Count sheets, buy sheets, Multiple Transaction Logs, Currency Transaction Reports, Check Log, etc. </li><li>May be asked to perform the duties of a Cage Cashier as needed.</li><li> Ensures compliance with company policies and all state and federal regulations. </li><li> Provides positive communication and uses Red Carpet Training skills with every patron and co-worker. </li><li>Performs duties in a safe manner; reports any potential safety hazards to management staff. </li><li>Performs any reasonable, temporarily assigned job duties outside the position’s job description, where, in the Company’s judgment, those duties are necessary in the interest of efficiency, productivity, or guest service.</li></ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Must be at least 21 years of age.</li> <li>High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree and/or prior banking experience preferred; or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.</li> <li>Previous Casino Cage or cash handling experience strongly preferred.</li> <li>Must be mathematically inclined; ten-key calculator skills required.</li> <li>Strong problem-solving, mediation, and consulting skills.</li> <li>Strong written and verbal communication skills; must be fluent and literate in English.</li> <li>Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.</li> <li>Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with team members at all levels of the organization.</li> <li>Knowledgeable of state gaming regulations.</li> <li>Ability to maintain a high level of energy and take a proactive and strategic approach to dealing with issues.</li> <li>Data entry/computer skills required.</li> <li>Highly organized and detail oriented.</li> <li>Ability to work with interruptions and divide attention among several ongoing activities, projects, or assignments.</li> <li>Ability to tolerate second-hand smoke, noise, and bright lights.</li> <li>Ability to work at a fast pace in often crowded/noisy environment.</li> <li>Must meet professional appearance standards as prescribed by company policy.</li> <li>Available to work required schedule which may include nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.</li> <li>Employee is regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms.
