Responsibilities: <ul><li>Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and coaching employees; addressing concerns; and resolving problems. This position will be required to perform the duties of a Security Shift Manager. This will include informing the Director of Security, PGCB and any other department or agency of any emergency situations, or system malfunctions as required by internal controls.</li><li>Ensure security officers adhere to uniform dress and grooming standards consistent with security department and company standards.</li><li>Enforce internal control policies and procedures.</li><li>Enforce underage gambling and drinking laws.</li><li>Maintain safety and inspections reports for the complex.</li><li>Conduct regular security post inspections.</li><li>Prepare security incident reports and maintain security logs.</li><li>Respond to guests and employees concerns and complaints and resolve their problems with professionalism and compassion.</li></ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Must be at least 18 years of age.</li> <li>High School Diploma or GED required.; or one to two years of casino Security, military, or police experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.</li> <li>Must be proficient in Microsoft applications.</li> <li>Must have excellent organizational and communication skills.</li> <li>Ability to write reports and business correspondence.</li> <li>Must have the ability to interact with guests, staff and colleagues and resolve problems and conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.</li> <li>Responsible for staff development and training programs.</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Responsible for rewards and recognition program to maximize employee engagement.</li> <li>Evaluates team members within department and delivers constructive feedback to team members in regard to performance.</li> <li>Provides recommendation for staffing (including interviewing and hiring) and scheduling (planning, assigning and directing work) to meet business needs.</li> <li>Manages work procedures and expedites workflow.</li> <li>Provides recommendation for employee performance (disciplining, coaching, and counseling).</li> </ul>
