Responsibilities: SUMMARY: <br />The Table Games Dealer School Student is responsible for learning dealing and conducting table game play while providing and maintaining an atmosphere of professionalism and integrity in Dealer School. The Table Games Dealer School Student does not perform the function of a Table Games Dealer nor work on the gaming floor in any capacity. <br /> <br />Dealer School Hours: Tuesday through Friday 9:30AM-2:30PM.<br /> <br />ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:<br />Other duties may be assigned.<br /> <br /><ul><li>Responsible for meeting Table Games Dealer School attendance requirements. </li><li>Responsible for learning the applicable games offered in Dealer School that includes, but is not limited to, craps, blackjack & property offered carnival games, roulette, pai-gow, and baccarat to successfully graduate school. </li><li>Provides professional representation at internal and external meetings and events.</li><li>Demonstrates abilities to meet performance expectations with Communications, Initiative/Problem Solving, Guest Service/Interpersonal Relations, Work Habits and Conduct, and Responsible Gaming/Business Ethics.</li><li>Ensures interactions with Team Members and School Instructors follow the guidelines of the customer service program.</li><li>Adheres to all Corporate and local policies, procedures, and operating guidelines.</li></ul>
Requirements: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Must have High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent. </li><li>Previous experience in a customer service position preferred but not required. </li><li>Must successfully complete dealer school.</li><li>Must be able to successfully complete a Table Games audition displaying adequate Table Games dealing skills.</li><li>Must be able to quickly and accurately perform mathematical computations when determining winners and losers and collecting and paying out bets in Dealer School for training purposes. </li><li>Must have the ability to display satisfactory dexterity for quick and accurate handling of training chips, training cards, and training cards. </li><li>Must possess excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.</li><li>Must successfully complete CPR training. Must promptly complete the necessary requirements for a Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board Gaming license prior to graduating Dealer School.<br /></li></ul> <br />The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
