Responsibilities: <ul><li>Prepares food items as directed, ensuring each order sent out is uniform and consistent.</li><li>Prepares food, including hot entrees for our Asian dishes, to specification in an accurate and timely manner to provide guests with a quality product.</li><li>Controls food production to include proper cooking methods, cooking time and temperature, ensuring sanitation, handling and storage of prepared food and Prepares leftovers.</li><li>Demonstrates competent product knowledge by correct storing and handling of all perishables, maintaining quality, security, value and integrity.</li><li>Oversees proper care, storage, use and cleaning of all tools and equipment.</li><li>Demonstrates competent product knowledge by correct storing and handling of all perishables, maintaining quality, security, value and integrity.</li><li>Effectively communicates with other team members, including service and kitchen maintenance personnel.</li><li>Maintains assigned station in a clean and sanitary condition in accordance with department service standards and job functions.</li></ul>
Requirements: <ul><li>Applicant must be at least 21 years of age.</li><li>Minimum 1-2 years previous experience in high volume food service operation/preparation is preferred (Asian Cuisine preferred).</li><li>Must have excellent customer service/communication skills.</li><li>Must have knowledge of kitchen sanitation, operation and maintenance of kitchen equipment.</li><li>Must be able to work any day of the week and any shift, including holidays and weekends.</li><li>Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time and/or entire shift.</li><li>Be able to tolerate areas containing second-hand smoke, high noise levels, bright lights and dust.</li></ul>
