Responsibilities: <ul><li>Responsible for fostering a fun environment.</li><li>Responsible for being a gracious host to all guests and co-workers.</li><li>Responsible for promoting a positive influence in the community and participating in company-sponsored events.</li><li>Identifies and develops personal relationships with new and first time guests.</li><li>Provides personal service to assigned ViP players, issuing complimentaries based on player ratings as needed.</li><li>Contacts guests personally and/or sends correspondence to invite them to enjoy amenities and/or to special events.</li><li>Hosts outside entertainment for our guests, such as professional sporting events, dinners, and theaters.</li><li>Promotes casino events via telemarketing and other communication.</li><li>Communicates constantly with Casino Operations and other team members.</li><li>Follows all safety rules.</li><li>Adheres to departmental quality standards.</li><li>Maintains compliance with the Missouri Gaming Commission rules and standards, the company's internal Controls, and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.</li><li>Works within the guidelines established by the company.</li><li>Other duties as assigned.</li></ul>
Requirements: <ul><li>Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) from an accredited four-year college or university; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Casino Host experience preferred.</li><li>Must have an outgoing, energetic, and enthusiastic attitude.</li><li>Must enjoy hosting others.</li><li>Must be comfortable initiating conversations and creating a fun environment with our guests.</li><li>Must be proficient in computer programs; prior experience with salesforce.com or casino marketing programs is preferred.</li><li>Ability to communicate with internal and/or external guests.</li><li>Ability to read and interpret documents in English, such as safety rules, internal controls, and procedure manuals.</li><li>Ability to read and communicate verbally in English. Written communication skills in English may also be required.</li><li>Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.</li><li>Team member must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state, and local regulations.</li></ul>PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a team member to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
