Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Develops, implements and manages marketing initiatives and operational goals and monitors achievements of performance of strategic marketing, database, direct mail, and other marketing related objectives.</li> <li>Responsible for preparing, monitoring and adhering to marketing and advertising budgets, forecasts, reinvestment targets, and ensuring compliance to departmental spend and budget initiatives. Reports variations from the budget or goals or concerns / deviations to the VP of Finance or Marketing.</li> <li>Proactively seeks out marketing margin enhancement opportunities and provides recommendations with relative departments and implements change.</li> <li>Identify Market trends develop strategies to address potential concerns.</li> <li>Primarily responsible for short and long-term marketing financial analysis for the property including labor, and financial data reporting</li> <li>Calculates profitability of marketing programs.&nbsp;Analyze results to identify opportunities for improving efficiency of marketing expenditures.&nbsp;Communicate findings to executive team.&nbsp;</li> <li>Compares actual operating results to budget, prior year and identified trends.&nbsp; Summarize key findings and communicate to executive management.&nbsp;&nbsp;Make recommendation for improving EBITDA and marketing spend effectiveness of promotional play, slot credits, loyalty program benefits, gift days, large promotions, etc.</li> <li>Develops presentations for marketing reviews, budget meetings and operational reviews.</li> <li>Presents and discusses analyses with high level executives from corporate and from the property.</li> <li>Develops, maintains and distributes key marketing metrics to evaluate attainment of company&rsquo;s operating, service and financial objectives.</li> <li>Performs queries of various databases to extract data for use in analysis.</li> <li>Prepares ad-hoc analysis as needed.&nbsp;</li> <li>Enthusiastically supports, actively promotes, and demonstrates superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards and programs.&nbsp; Ensures customer service standards are followed by all team members and addresses issues as they arise.&nbsp; Responsible for the overall achievement of department customer service goals.&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Responsible for ensuring the compliance with all regulatory compliance within area of responsibility and reporting potential issues to the VP of Finance or GM.</li> <li>Maintains strict confidentiality in all departmental and company matters.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <div class="iCIMS_InfoMsg iCIMS_InfoMsg_Job"> <div class="iCIMS_Expandable_Container"> <div class="iCIMS_Expandable_Text"> <p>Must be at least 21 years of age.</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree (B.A. / B.S.) from an accredited four-year college or university; MBA preferred.</li> <li>At least five years casino experience is preferred.</li> <li>Must have ability to effectively communicate and make formal presentations to executives.&nbsp;</li> <li>Must have broad knowledge of marketing, hotel, and financial analysis.&nbsp;</li> <li>Experience with computer report writing software highly desirable.&nbsp;</li> <li>Advanced Excel spreadsheet skills essential.&nbsp;</li> <li>Financial modeling experience essential. Ability to read and communicate verbally in English. Written communication skills in in English may also be required.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>REASONING ABILITY</strong></p> <p>Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
