Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Insures maximum efficiency in performance of Room Attendants to acquire and maintain immaculate accommodations</li> <li>Assigns guest rooms to be cleaned</li> <li>Inspects all vacant rooms for efficient top conditions and meeting housekeeping specifications</li> <li>Supervises all Room Attendants to assure protection of all hotel property for possible damage</li> <li>Report all maintenance problems to assure protection of all hotel property for possible damage</li> <li>Checks Room Attendants&rsquo; appearance, carts, equipment and cleaning supplies. Ensures store rooms are properly stocked with linens and supplies</li> <li>Ensures Room Attendants&rsquo; work meets the requirements of hospitality operations</li> <li>Ensures all departmental, property policies, procedures, and performance standards are maintained</li> <li>Responsible for training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; evaluating performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems</li> <li>Responsible for providing exceptional Red Carpet Customer Service to all guests</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent</li> <li>Must perform duties with a sense of urgency</li> <li>Knowledge of all safety and health standards set by OSHA and local Health Department</li> <li>Knowledge of hotel management system to inquire about and update room status preferred</li> <li>Knowledge of all facilities. Ensure that employees maintain a pleasant, friendly and welcoming attitude at all times</li> <li>Must be able to work as a team with other employees</li> <li>Housekeeping experience preferred</li> <li>Knowledge of hotel property management system preferred</li> <li>Ability to tilt head back and look up</li> <li>Ability to perform frequent, circular motions with hands and/or arms</li> <li>Ability to handle exposure to moving mechanical parts and high, precarious places</li> <li>Visual range must include ne - , limited spaces</li> <li>Ability to use ladders, as well as clean ground level areas -</li> <li>bility to transport all supplies to and from work areas - Must be able to stoop, bend, push, pull, lift and carry up to 25 pounds</li> <li>Must be able to maneuver in hotel areas, up and down stairs and reach above shoulder level</li> <li>Must be able to work in areas containing second-hand smoke</li> <li>Must be able to work with cleaning chemicals and be able to handle chemical fumes and airborne particles (on occasion) - Physically mobile with reasonable accommodations including ability to push, pull, carry and lift up to 25 lbs., and the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, stack, crouch, kneel and balance when performing job duties in varying work areas such as confined spaces</li> </ul>
