Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Consistently prepares hot or cold food selections to standards established by the Executive Chef.</li> <li>Ensures that work area is kept clean and orderly.</li> <li>Assist in training of new Cooks.</li> <li>Must be able to stand for a full shift.</li> <li>Exhibits a friendly, helpful, and courteous manner when dealing with customer of fellow team members</li> <li>Completes daily checklist and production charts as directed by you supervisor</li> <li>Any and all duties as assigned by your Supervisor or a member of management.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>One to three months related experience and/or training.</li> <li>Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.</li> <li>Ability to write simple correspondence.&nbsp;</li> <li>Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other cast members of the organization.</li> <li>Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.</li> <li>Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.</li> <li>Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.</li> <li>Apprentice for Certification preferred.</li> <li>Knowledge and ability to use all kitchen tools and equipment.</li> <li>Must be able to identify all products used in kitchen operation.&nbsp; Recognizes spoiled or questionable products.&nbsp;</li> <li>Ability to read, and comprehend and execute recipes.</li> </ul> <br /> <p><strong><u>SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES</u></strong> <strong>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</strong></p> <p>This job does not have supervisory responsibilities.<strong>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</strong></p> <p><strong><u>LANGUAGE SKILLS</u></strong></p> <p>Ability to read and interpret documents in English, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Written communication skills in in English may also be required.</p> <p><strong><u>REASONING ABILITY</u></strong></p> <p>Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.&nbsp;</p> <p><strong><u>CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS</u></strong></p> <p>Employee must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state and local regulations.</p> <p>Must successfully complete C.A.R.E or TIPS training.
