Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Greets guests and verbally acknowledges each guest promptly.</li> <li>Serves as an ambassador of an excellent guest dining experience.</li> <li>Prepares restaurant and tables for service.</li> <li>Responsible for a certain section(s) and provides superb service following the service standards.</li> <li>Shows enthusiasm towards guests and products.</li> <li>Helps follow servers; maintains a team mentality.</li> <li>Accurate computer input of orders and delivery of food, wine and beverages.</li> <li>Reconciles checks, thank guests, and invites them back.</li> <li>Clears and resets tables.</li> <li>Maintains awareness of guest alcohol intake in accordance with RAMP guidelines.</li> <li>Stocks side stations throughout the shift; Performs opening/closing side work.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Must be 18 years of age.</li> <li>Must have High School Diploma/GED.</li> <li>Must have one to two years of experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.</li> <li>Must have the ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from guests.</li> <li>Must have excellent customer service/communication skills.</li> <li>Must be able to count money and change correctly.</li> <li>Knows or is able to learn tray service.</li> <li>Available to work required schedule which may include nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.</li> </ul> <br />The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.<br /> <ul> <li>Walking 75% of the time.</li> <li>Standing 10 % of the time.</li> <li>Bending and lifting 15% of the time.</li> <li>Lifting/moving maximum of 100 lbs.</li> </ul> <br />The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
