Responsibilities: <ul><li>Transports and delivers passengers safely and courteously to legal, authorized parking and loading areas. </li><li>Maintains a record of vehicle mechanical problems, and routinely informs supervisor of any need for service, maintenance or repair. </li><li>Maintains a record checking oil, transmission fluid, windshield washer fluid, brake fluid weekly and pre and post shift inspections. </li><li>Drives vehicle safely and monitors operations for acts of theft and vandalism and completes a security report for all incidents as directed. </li><li>Maintains a record of fuel, mileage, Department of Transportation vehicle safety inspection reports, pick-up/drop-off time logs and required department reports. </li><li>Make announcements to guests as needed. </li><li>Maintains cleanliness inside and outside the shuttle including empty trash, sweeping and mopping floor, cleaning windows and washing exterior when necessary. </li><li>Reports all deficiencies in parking lots relating to safety and cleanliness. </li><li>Wears and maintains all uniforms properly. </li><li>Greet the guests in a friendly manner and helps them on and off shuttles. </li><li>Direct the guests to the location in which they desire to go. </li><li>Fill vehicle with fuel.</li><li>Handle guest complaints with the intention of customer satisfaction. </li><li>Complete all required reports and documentation. </li><li>Ability to answer questions the guests may have. Driver should be informed of all promotions/events, and property. </li><li>Inspect the shuttle for items left behind by the guests/employees and inspect for damage after each shift. </li><li>Maintain appropriate Driver’s License.</li></ul>
Requirements: <ul><li>Previous experience as a shuttle driver is desired, but not required. High school education or equivalent, desired.</li><li>Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to guests, clients, and other team members of the organization.</li><li>Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.</li><li>Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.</li><li>Must qualify for licensing with the West Virginia Racing Commission. Must have a valid driver’s license, and clean driving record, for the state in which you reside. In addition to the pre-employment background check, this position will be subject to periodic checks of your driving record in order to determine your continued suitability to drive company and/or patron vehicles. </li><li>While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to stand, walk, and talk or hear. The team member frequently is required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The team member is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, or crouch, and smell. The team member must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.</li><li>While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to outside weather conditions. The team member is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts. The team member is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.</li></ul>
