Responsibilities: <ul><li>Collects and reconciles all transactions handled by the Cage and related areas.</li><li>Audits Drop Verification Report to CDS.</li><li>Audits necessary slot reports to provide accurate revenue information.</li><li>Audits Master Games Report to supporting documentation and CDS.</li><li>Audits various outlets, F & B, Gift Shops, etc.</li><li>Audits Revenue Room and Pari-Mutuel activity.</li><li>Provides timely and accurate reports upon request.</li><li>Abides by all company, lottery commission, and departmental policies and procedures.</li><li>Prepares exception reports for procedural violations and notifies supervisor or management as needed.</li><li>Completes special projects, as assigned.</li><li>Enthusiastically supports, actively promotes and demonstrates superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards and programs. </li><li>Ensures behavior and appearance are in compliance with established standards.</li><li>Maintains complete confidentiality at all times with respect to the internal functions of the Security department as well as any other information deemed to be confidential.</li><li>Maintains a professional work environment with management and staff.</li><li>Participates in meetings and training as required.</li><li>Performs all job duties in a safe and responsible manner and reports safety hazards immediately.</li><li>Performs other duties as may be assigned by department and/or company management.</li></ul>
Requirements: <ul><li>Must be at least 21 years of age</li><li>High school diploma or equivalent required; a minimum of one year related experience and/or training. </li><li>Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.</li><li>Write routine reports and correspondence.</li><li>Accurately calculate figures and amounts and perform mathematical functions applicable to business needs.</li><li>Define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Interpret a variety of technical and mathematical formulas. Interpret and follow through on a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.</li><li>Must qualify for licensing with the West Virginia Lottery and Racing Commissions every year of employment.</li><li>Intermediate user in Microsoft Word, Excel and Access. </li><li>Flexible to work all shifts including holidays, nights, weekend hours and overtime as business needs dictate. </li><li>Diplomatic and tactful; speak clearly and politely; respond well to questions. Deals effectively and interacts well with the customers and employees.</li><li>Lift up to 25 pounds occasionally</li><li>Can work in an environment where smoking is permitted and with higher than normal noise levels.</li></ul>
