Responsibilities: <ul> <li>The Bellperson assists guests in transporting luggage to and from guest rooms, coordinates guests' needs, requests and inquiries.</li> <li>Greet guests and escort them to their rooms when needed</li> <li>Handles luggage for guests upon arrival or departure</li> <li>Transports luggage between lobby and guest rooms</li> <li>Receive and mark baggage by completing and attaching claim checks</li> <li>Assist physically challenged guests with special needs</li> <li>Maintain presentable entrances</li> <li>Assist the Front Desk in delivering quick and efficient service to hotel guests</li> <li>Maintain constant communication with transportation, front desk, and messaging/PBX team members</li> <li>Assist guest with general questions about the rooms or other points of interests</li> <li>Comply with all health and safety standards</li> <li>Attend meetings as scheduled</li> <li>Other job-related duties as assigned</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Good verbal communication &amp; listening skills</li> <li>Knowledge of telecommunications systems</li> <li>Knowledge of relevant equipment and ability to move people and goods</li> <li>Great guest service skills</li> <li>Trustworthy and have the ability to take care with people &amp; protect property</li> <li>Understand and comply with all company and departmental rules and regulations, policies and procedures</li> <li>Skill in maintaining effective working relationships with team members and guests</li> <li>Ability to read, write, and communicate verbally in English</li> <li>Ability to perform intermediate math</li> </ul>
