Responsibilities: This position is responsible for assisting with the various tasks associated with the hotel catering operations, including establishing and maintenance of all Catering Department records, files, supplies and reports. <br /> <br /> Essential Functions <br /> <ul> <li>Assist with the coordination of scheduled catered events</li> <li>Generate regular reports for the team</li> <li>Assist Catering team members with Database Maintenance</li> <li>Respond to telephone calls and provided necessary follow-up</li> <li>Assist with responding to various correspondence</li> <li>Manage the purchasing process using Stratton Warren (MMS) system for the Catering Division</li> <li>Assist with addressing guest billing issues in the LMS system (connected to CMP)</li> <li>Comply with all health and safety standards</li> <li>Attend meetings as scheduled</li> <li>Other job-related duties as assigned</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Must have a working knowledge of food &amp; beverage and service standards</li> <li>Possess excellent communication and writing skills</li> <li>Possess excellent organizational skills and detail-oriented</li> <li>Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information</li> <li>Understand and comply with all Company and departmental rules, regulations, policies, and procedures</li> <li>Ability to read, write, and communicate verbally in English</li> <li>Ability to perform intermediate math</li> <li>Fax machine, telephones, calculator, copier, and computer proficiency and knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn new software</li> <li>Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members at all levels</li> </ul>
