Responsibilities: This position will provide friendly, courteous beverage service and beverage preparation in accordance with standard procedures. <br /> <br />Essential Functions <br /> <ul> <li>Prepare beverages in accordance with established procedures</li> <li>Follow proper cash control procedures</li> <li>Practice proper par stock ordering procedures</li> <li>Maintain current knowledge of all policies and procedures concerning service of all alcoholic beverages</li> <li>Responsible for set-up and cleaning of bar area</li> <li>Monitor and assist in training Barbacks</li> <li>Maintain knowledge of current hotel activities, beverage outlets and operations</li> <li>Comply with all health and safety standards</li> <li>Attend meetings as scheduled</li> <li>Other job-related duties as assigned</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Must have knowledge of relevant of bartending procedures (drink recipes, etc.)</li> <li>Great good people skills required including effective communication</li> <li>Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with staff</li> <li>Ability to read, write and communicate verbally in English</li> <li>Ability to perform basic math &amp; handle money and make correct change</li> <li>Ability to understand and comply with all departmental and Company rules, regulations, policies and procedures</li> <li>Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff and management</li> </ul>
