Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Respond to and handle guest requests in a courteous, efficient, safe manner;</li> <li>Perform preventive maintenance and necessary repairs and all casino and hotel equipment, including kitchen, laundry, boiler, plumbing, pool, HVAC, electrical and guest rooms.</li> <li>Complete maintenance requests, take equipment, meter readings, and maintain logs to notify the next shift.</li> <li>Document all parts used and parts needed to be purchased. Adhere to all regulatory and safety standards and report any unsafe conditions to the Lead Engineer or Management.</li> <li>Set up the machine and make name tags and signs. Make keys as requested. Attend meetings as scheduled.</li> <li>Other job-related duties as assigned.</li> </ul>
Requirements: Knowledge, Skills &amp; Abilities&nbsp;<br /> <ul> <li>Ability to maintain and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing equipment and perform carpentry, repair work, construction and renovation work;</li> <li>May require ability to drive pick-up truck and snow removal equipment;</li> <li>Excellent communication skills;</li> <li>Understand and comply with all Company and departmental rules, regulations, policies and procedures;</li> <li>Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with staff; Ability to read, write and communication verbally in English; Ability to perform intermediate math;</li> <li>Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical and mechanical equipment;</li> <li>Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.</li> </ul> Education and Experience&nbsp;<br /> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or equivalent;</li> <li>Associate College degree is preferred;</li> <li>Journeyman Engineer status.</li> <li>Minimum Two (2) years related experience required; preferably in a hotel environment.</li> </ul> Required Certification/License <br /> <ul> <li>Possesses appropriate licenses and training as required by applicable local and state laws.</li> </ul>
