Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Inspect equipment daily and ensure that it is in proper working condition to maintain the track and barn area; correct issues as needed.</li> <li>Perform preventative maintenance on all equipment as scheduled.</li> <li>Keep daily records of all work that is performed on each piece of equipment.</li> <li>Repair/maintain equipment including but not limited to oil filter and tire changes, fluid refilling, greasing, etc.</li> <li>Initiate purchase order for parts and machines.</li> <li>Knowledge and experience of welding.</li> <li>Mandatory snow removal.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED); or one to three months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.</li> <li>Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.</li> <li>Ability to write simple correspondence.</li> <li>Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.</li> <li>Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.</li> <li>Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.</li> <li>Must qualify for the Pennsylvania State Racing Commission license.</li> <li>Must possess a valid PA driver&rsquo;s license.</li> <li>The employee is occasionally required to walk and climb or balance.</li> <li>The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pound.</li> <li>While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and working with equipment in hard to reach areas.</li> <li>The employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles and outside weather conditions.</li> <li>The employee is occasionally exposed to risk of electrical shock.</li> <li>The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.</li> </ul>
