Responsibilities: <ul><li>Greet and verbally acknowledge each guest promptly. </li><li>Responsible for prompt, efficient, and courteous service of food and beverages to banquet and casino guests in accordance with venue and/or promotion/event standards. </li><li>Ensure each station is ready for guests' arrival in accordance with Banquet Event Order. </li><li>Knowledge of all event specification and details in accordance with Banquet Event Order. </li><li>Complete knowledge of all menu items and how each item is prepared. </li><li>Monitor guests' needs on a continual basis and ensure all requests are promptly fulfilled. </li><li>General knowledge of operations at HCPN in order to answer guest inquiries regarding racing, slots, wagering, etc. </li><li>Keep work area neat and clean in accordance with all PA Department of Health standards. </li><li>Restock assigned station at end of shift and have ready for start of next shift. </li><li>Ensure all necessary pre-shift/post-shift side work is completed daily. </li><li>Attendance at any pre-shift meetings. </li><li>Participate as a team member with all servers, bartenders, and any other casino personnel to ensure efficient operations. </li><li>Responsible for maintaining a regular and consistent attendance record.</li></ul>
Requirements: <ul><li>High School Diploma/GED; </li><li>1-2 years of experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. </li><li>Must have the ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from guests. </li><li>Must have the ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of situations. </li><li>Ability to operate POS Systems.</li></ul>The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
