Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Establish a pleasant rapport with internal and external guests.</li> <li>Knowledge of and strict adherence to PLCB and RG standards.</li> <li>Thorough knowledge of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and their proper preparation, and ongoing knowledge of new drink trends.</li> <li>Responsible for mixing and serving beverages directly to bar patrons as well as in a service station capacity to beverage/food servers as venue requires.</li> <li>Accurate and efficient use of POS system.</li> <li>Track usage and inventory and order stock to maintain established pars.</li> <li>Maintain awareness of guest alcohol intake following RAMP guidelines.</li> <li>Keep work area neat and clean in accordance with all PA Department of Health standards.</li> <li>At end of shift restock station for start of next shift.</li> <li>Maintain well-groomed appearance in accordance with Food &amp; Beverage Grooming Standards at all times.</li> <li>Participate as a team member with all servers, barbacks, and any other casino personnel to ensure efficient operations.</li> <li>Declare tips through time and attendance system at the end of each shift.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>High School Diploma/GED.</li> <li>0-6 months of bartending experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.</li> <li>Must have the ability to read, write, and speak English.</li> <li>Must have the ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from guests.</li> <li>Must have the ability to read and interpret documents, such as safety rules and operating and maintenance instructions.</li> <li>Must have the ability to present information and respond to questions from guests.</li> <li>Must have the ability to perform basic math skills.</li> <li>Must have the ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of situations.</li> <li>Must have the ability to interpret a variety of instructions (i.e., written, oral, etc.).</li> <li>Basic computer knowledge; ability to operate POS systems.</li> <li>Must qualify for a license with the Pennsylvania State Racing Commission and meet any credentialing requirements of the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board.</li> <li>Must be able to obtain proper food handler certification and RAMP certification.</li> </ul> <br /> <br />The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. <br />Reasonable accommodations will be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.<br /> <br /> <ul> <li>Walking 5% of the time.</li> <li>Standing 75 % of the time.</li> <li>Bending and lifting 20% of the time.</li> <li>Lifting/moving maximum of 70 lbs.</li> </ul>
