Responsibilities: SCOPE AND MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB: <br /><ul><li>The Paddock Attendant works at various times according to the racing schedule. </li><li>The attendant is responsible for cleaning and maintaining the race paddock stalls, commission stalls, locker rooms and the outside grounds. </li><li>They maybe assigned other various task from time to time. </li></ul> <br />FUNCTIONS AND RESPOSIBILITIES:<br /><ul><li>Be familiar with location and number of stalls used in the paddock</li><li>Maintain a clean and safe environment in the paddock</li><li>Clean commission stalls and empty out stalls in the paddock</li><li>Assist with pad collection, cleaning pads and distribution of pads as directed</li></ul> <br /> <br /> <br />
Requirements: KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:<br /><li>High School diploma or equivalent</li><li>Able to follow verbal and written instructions</li><li>Able to communicate clearly and effectively</li><li>Knowledge of PHRC regulations </li><li>Basic math skills </li><li>Demonstrate ability to work independently</li></ul>PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:<br /><li>Ability to work outside for periods of time </li><li>Bend, Stoop, Kneel </li><li>Lift up to 30 pounds</li><li>Vision and hearing within normal range</li><li>Work in dimly lit, noisy areas and less than perfect conditions</li></ul> <br />
