Responsibilities: <div class="iCIMS_InfoMsg iCIMS_InfoMsg_Job"> <div class="iCIMS_Expandable_Container"> <div class="iCIMS_Expandable_Text"> <ul style="margin-top: 0in;"> <li style="margin-right: .5in;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Providing stellar customer service to internal and external customers including participation in and promotion of customer service programs to continuously improve customer service.</span></li> <li style="margin-right: .5in;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Assist guests with retrieving, preparing and setting up display, as required to serve party/banquet room events.</span></li> <li style="margin-right: .5in;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Follow appropriate food handling procedures to ensure safe, quality products if assisting with moving food product.</span></li> <li style="margin-right: .5in;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Perform tasks to ensure an attractive and safe physical appearance of working areas including cleaning, sanitizing, sweeping and mopping all areas.</span></li> <li style="margin-right: .5in;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Ensure that all areas are clean and attractive including but not limited to cleaning tables and removal of dishes, cups, tableware, debris and litter and cleaning floors.</span></li> <li style="margin-right: .5in;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Ensure supplies are stocked as needed including but not limited to plates, napkins, tableware, condiments and food products.</span></li> <li style="margin-right: .5in;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Perform tasks as needed to complete necessary paperwork.</span></li> <li style="margin-right: .5in;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Set up, tear down and clean up party room/banquet areas for events including proper arrangement and presentation of tables, chairs, decorations, AV equipment, stages, podiums, and food and beverage products or other props or products as needed.</span></li> <li style="margin-right: .5in;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Operate machinery as needed such as ice or beverage machines.</span></li> <li style="margin-right: .5in;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Receive and properly store and use items including pop canisters, CO<sub>2</sub> tanks, bottled beverages and linens.</span></li> <li style="margin-right: .5in;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Preparation and presentation of buffet style service lines including dessert stations, banquet lines, and banquet bars.</span></li> <li style="margin-right: .5in;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Compile information, complete and submit paperwork as needed.</span></li> <li style="margin-right: .5in;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Perform all job duties in a safe and responsible manner including keeping areas clean and free of safety hazards, debris and litter.</span></li> </ul> <span style="font-size: 10pt;"><em><strong>This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive and team members may also be asked to perform other reasonable related duties as assigned.&nbsp; Hollywood Gaming Mahoning Valley reserves the right to revise or change job duties and responsibilities as the need arises with appropriate notification to Team Members.</strong></em></span></div> </div> </div>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Must be 21.</li> <li>High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or a minimum of one to three months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.</li> <li>Ability to prepare, read and comprehend documents.</li> <li>Ability to write reports and correspondence.</li> <li>Ability to speak and communicate effectively with individuals and before groups of people.</li> <li>Ability to accurately calculate figures and amounts and perform mathematical functions applicable to business needs including but not limited to counting money.</li> <li>Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.</li> <li>Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.</li> <li>Must be able to qualify for any and all licenses or permits required by local, state or federal law.</li> <li>Regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms.</li> <li>Frequently is required to talk or hear.
