Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Provides name of horse, rider, lengths behind and any other descriptors for benefit of general public and simulcast audience of MVRC Races.</li> <li>Provides general announcements to the public.</li> <li>Conveys pertinent information such as scratches, changes and any other updates of racing information as directed by Mutuel department or judges.</li> <li>Provides explanations of infractions occurring on racetrack and resultant disqualifications.</li> <li>Provides per-race commentary on horses and participants in races.</li> <li>Coordinate with audio-visual department in developing content for daily simulcast presentation.</li> <li>Acts as a host for racing related media or promotional events before, during or after races.</li> <li>Must be available to work for any racing hours.</li> </ul> <br /><br />This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive and team members may also be asked to perform other reasonable related duties as assigned.
