Overview: <p>Since 1982, Honda of America Manufacturing has produced nearly 15 million vehicles in the state of Ohio alone.&nbsp; Since opening its doors in 1985, the Anna Engine Plant (AEP) has grown from a humble beginning of just 100 associates into Honda&rsquo;s second largest Ohio operation employing more than 2,600 people. It annually produces more than 1 million four-cylinder and V-6 engines and components for Honda production facilities in Canada, Ohio, Alabama and Indiana, along with driveshafts, crankshafts, brake components, camshafts and cylinder sleeves. Recently the Anna Engine Plant started producing pulley components for the Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT). We are looking for an <strong>Equipment Service Technician &ndash; Maintenance </strong>to join our amazing team in Columbus, OH.</p>
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Report to Maintenance Service Team/Shift Leader &amp; assigned to perform maintenance for shift/production needs</li> <li>Maintain production equipment in a safe/efficient manner to ensure equipment meets/exceeds requirements</li> <li>Respond to and perform all phases of installation &amp;/or troubleshooting and repair of equipment downtime issues</li> <li>Perform daily equipment checks along with regular and emergency maintenance per shift/production needs</li> <li>Complete daily work orders &amp; support predictive/preventative maintenance with clear reports &amp; recommendations</li> <li>Perform and assist with production and maintenance training and programs as required/needed</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Honda Maintenance Team Members are knowledgeable and experienced multi-skilled and multi-craft technicians</li> <li>Excellent electronic, electrical, &amp; solid troubleshooting with power/control circuit interfaces and applications</li> <li>Basic knowledge of ladder logic and understanding of automation controls sequencing</li> <li>Strong maintenance experience with solid mechanical aptitude/inclination to work in a multi-skilled environment</li> <li>Must be flexible &amp; able to rotate shifts on an ongoing basis and work weekends plus overtime as required</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>EOE</p>
