Overview: <div>The Life &amp; Retirement Sales Assistant will coordinate and communicate with writing agents, sales management, and home office staff throughout the new business process.</div>
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Manage pending caseload; coordinate resolution of "not in good order" issues, facilitate collection of open requirements and appropriately escalate aging cases.</li> <li>Expedite the completion of "issued" business.</li> <li>Explain and educate agents on the impact of underwriting requirements, including but not limited to process requirements, medical impairments, and financials.</li> <li>Update, respond to and initiate activities within the new business system to ensure case and client information is current.</li> <li>Track and follow up on lagging requirements.</li> <li>Complete ad hoc research/analysis; report and monitor application statistics in order to proactively communicate and support regional management.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>1-2 Years of college OR High School Diploma required.</li> <li>1-2 Years' experience in insurance service operations.</li> <li>Strong background in life products and insurance law.</li> <li>Effective written/verbal communication skills and analytical skills are required.</li> <li>Demonstrates above average math/accounting skills.</li> <li>In addition, a call center or customer service experience is helpful.</li> <li>Participation in continuing education coursework and ACS encouraged with an emphasis on LOMA.</li> <li>Must be available to work overtime or change work schedules as needed.</li> <li>Must be able to work in the United States without Employer Sponsorship <div id="field2_right" class="">&nbsp;</div> </li> </ul>
