Overview: Evaluates the claim to determine claim value, negotiate settlement, and moves to settle claims while adhering to company best claim practices.
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Verify coverage, investigate liability and/or scope of the damage.</li> <li>Obtain and maintain state-mandated adjuster licenses</li> <li>Proficiency with/and ability to understand and follow regulations for State jurisdictions.</li> <li>Ability to operate in a fast-paced customer focused environment, while effectively utilizing telephony and claims oper</li> <li>Strong organization and time management skills</li> <li>Strong verbal and written communication skills</li> <li>Strong customer service focus</li> <li>Strong negotiation capabilities/ skills</li> <li>Ability to manage moderate to complex claims, a coordinate timeline of repairs, and supporting vendors/ action items</li> <li>to timely outcomes.</li> <li>Adhere to strict response guidelines, company best claim practices, and state compliance standards</li> <li>Establish and maintain effective communication that keeps customers informed throughout the claims process</li> <li>Ability to operate in a fast-paced customer focused environment while scheduling appointments and traveling to</li> <li>inspect damages</li> <li>Utilize estimating software and photos to properly write damages and evaluate the loss</li> <li>Issue payments, send estimate and letters in a timely manner</li> <li>Review claims for supplemental damage to ensure they are related and settled at fair value</li> <li>Proactive and strong customer service and communication Skills</li> <li>Must stay up-to-date with constant changes in industry laws and regulations</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Ability to service customers face-to-face in high-stress situations</li> <li>Effective organizational and multi-tasking skills required.</li> <li>Protect company equipment and present oneself in a professional manner while meeting with all customers</li> <li>Preferred Technical Skills: Xactimate/Xactware products.</li> <li>Preferred Skills, Knowledge Experience: Relevant claims adjusting experience and/or construction background is preferred</li> <li>Ability to travel at a moment's notice throughout the country as needed for catastrophe duties</li> <li>Must have a valid and active driver's license.</li> </ul>
