Overview: <div>The Digital Media Specialist&nbsp;is responsible for creation and management of digital marketing campaigns on web and social media. In addition, this role provides ongoing digital training and support to our agents. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, organized and has a strong understanding of digital marketing including social media platforms, web content strategy, CMS, lead generation, and customer service.</div>
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Develop and promote social media campaigns and sweepstakes to build brand awareness and generate qualified leads</li> <li>Provide digital campaign support to Marketing, Market Access, PR, field, and other stakeholders</li> <li>Onboard agents to agent web pages, use of social media including Hearsay Social, online reviews, and local search listings</li> <li>Proactively support agents to drive growth and build awareness through their web and social properties</li> <li>Work with vendors (e.g. Hearsay Systems) to improve efficiency and quality of content creation and publishing</li> <li>Regularly audit Hearsay Social content and eliminate outdated content, users</li> <li>Establish performance metrics to assess engagement and impact of social and other digital media assets</li> <li>Manage and monitor Horacemann.com and all social channels to be current, accurate and compliant</li> <li>Coordinate compliance review process for digital content</li> <li>Provide timely responses to customer messages, comments, or online reviews in coordination with Contact Center</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Bachelors' Degree or equivalent years of experience</li> <li>Strong familiarity with business applications of social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.)</li> <li>Understanding of social media and web analytics; able to interpret the results and take action to increase effectiveness of social media campaigns</li> <li>Proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.</li> <li>Preferred candidates are proficient in Photoshop, Hootsuite, Google Analytics, SEO/SEM, PPC, content strategy, or HTML/CSS.</li> <li>Ability to explain digital and technical concepts to a broad set of audiences.</li> <li>Ability to provide in-person or virtual training to user groups</li> <li>Be open and responsive to feedback.</li> <li>May work irregular hours.</li> </ul>
