Overview: <p>The Retirement Consulting Center ensures our existing (specifically our underrepresented) clients and prospective clients have access to our Total Value Proposition in support of Horace Mann&rsquo;s growth strategy which includes promoting comprehensive retirement solutions.</p> <p>As a Retirement Sales Associate, you&rsquo;ll perform a wide variety of sales and sales prospecting processes; sells retirement and investment products and services to referred prospects and existing clients who do not have a local Horace Mann financial representative available.</p> <p><strong><u>You Will Enjoy</u></strong></p> <ul> <li>Base salary plus quarterly and annual bonus plus uncapped commissions</li> <li>A niche market to increase your opportunity for success</li> <li>Educating the educators</li> <li>Making a positive impact on the underserved educators</li> </ul>
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Makes daily outbound sales calls, takes inbound inquires, hosts video prospect meetings, hosts topical seminars, and conducts sales directly with prospects.</li> <li>Engages and retains clients through inbound calls and follow-up outbound calls, e-mail, and other approved media - build trusting relationships with a high degree of integrity and personal accountability.</li> <li>Uncovers cross-sell opportunities for other company products and services and refers to the appropriate business area</li> <li>Participate in team lead generation programs, call campaigns, and strategies to acquire new clients</li> <li>Presents and sells financial products and services that are in the best interest of clients</li> <li>Building strong relationships to retain existing clients</li> <li>Tailoring retirement and investment strategy according to clients&rsquo; changing needs</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>FINRA Series 6 and 63 or 65</li> <li>Life Insurance licensed</li> <li>2+ years&rsquo; sales experience</li> <li>BA / BS in a related field or equivalent experience</li> <li>Possess and demonstrate strong communication skills&nbsp;</li> </ul>
