Finance & Planning

Overview: <br /> <p>The Manager Banking &amp; Investments will provide timely review and accuracy of daily cash positioning, investments, and recording transactional data into the investment accounting system, requiring strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Will have a well-defined understanding/knowledge of cash management, banking products, investments, and investment accounting, which is technical in nature and can be specialized.</p> <p>They will lead projects or provide project support for projects related to cash collection and disbursements and other corporate projects related to banking and investments. Serves as primary contact with company's external vendors involved in any projects. Recommend changes to reduce expenses and assist in negotiations with external vendors to achieve efficient pricing. Assist with the administration of user access to various external systems utilized within the banking and investments department.</p>
Responsibilities: <br /> <ul> <li>Minimize risk as it relates to cash management.</li> <li>Manage the Treasury Operations Team, develop and support their goals.</li> <li>Provide advisement and training as necessary to the Treasury Operations team to support the resolution of operational issues.</li> <li>Analyze daily cash positions and coordinate requirements for daily liquidity.</li> <li>Assist with opening/closing bank accounts and related reports.</li> <li>Ensure compliance with Treasury policies and continuous enhancements in support of effective controls.</li> <li>Responsible for daily cash processing in PAM.</li> <li>Daily/Monthly investigation of under (over) applied cash differences related to investment income.</li> <li>Ensure execution of trades, accurate collection of P &amp; I, reporting of investment holdings and compliance.</li> <li>Perform monthly reconciliation of asset positions and cash activity received from custodial bank to the accounting records maintained on PAM and resolve any identified exceptions. (cusip, par, maturity date, and coupon)</li> <li>Responsible for quarterly AVR and IMR calculations and supporting documentation.</li> <li>Maintain and improve internal control system to ensure a successful outcome of SOX testing and opinion.</li> <li>Maintain audit relationship with both internal and external auditors and complete requests related to GAAP and STAT.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <br /> <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree in finance, economics, accounting, or equivalent experience.</li> <li>5+ years banking, investment accounting, or related experience</li> </ul>
