Overview: <br /> <p>The Director of Strategic Development will partner with Distribution and Supplemental leadership to develop strategies to drive profitable growth. Lead cross-functional teams on a variety of strategic, commercial, marketing, and product initiatives. Maintain strong working relationships with other business units. Create and manage a variety of sales and product performance analyses. Responsible for the effective implementation, integration, and execution of key Supplemental strategic initiatives.</p> <p>Perform advanced financial, market, industry, and product analyses. Accountable for achieving planned profit and growth targets. Extensive working knowledge of industry trends, strong financial skills, and sound commercial judgment. Excellent communication and organizational skills to effectively establish and maintain a culture of accountability and high performance.</p>
Responsibilities: <br /> <ul> <li>Provide strategic leadership with strong consultative skills; demonstrated leadership with proven results.</li> <li>Provide recommendations based on data and analysis to support strategic outlook for key decision-makers.</li> <li>Effectively communicate with, develop, and manage relationships with the Field.</li> <li>Demonstrable financial, legal, and commercial analysis.</li> <li>Strong analytical, written, and communication skills.</li> <li>Strong sense of priority, urgency, and commitment to deadlines.</li> <li>Self-starter with the energy, motivation, and resilience necessary to be effective under pressure.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p>
Requirements: <br /> <ul> <li>5+ years of experience in the insurance industry.</li> <li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in business or finance-related field required.</li> <li>Master&rsquo;s Degree preferred.</li> </ul>
