Overview: <p><strong>The Client Account Manager&nbsp;</strong>is the main point of contact for assigned employer clients for strategic and operational initiatives, performs all necessary renewal and service activities to retain new and existing clients, reviews and presents renewal material, assisting in developing alternate benefit designs as needed. and delivers training and ongoing support to clients to understand products and plans.</p>
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Implement a regular contact strategy to establish and build rapport with current employer clients, including payroll admins and business managers for the school district.</li> <li>Learn the business needs of the client to serve as an advocate, providing exceptional customer service and handling all client needs, regardless of product.</li> <li>Provide operational expertise, share industry, and organizational best practices, and troubleshoot complex situations.</li> <li>Act as a liaison between the client and vendor(s) to resolve service issues timely.</li> <li>Demonstrate high-level knowledge of the group and Supplemental products offered by the Company and coordinate with the appropriate point of contact for complex situations and policy guidelines.</li> <li>Understand billing for payroll deducted products, including group products, both within and outside Section 125 plans, Supplemental products, 403(b) plans, individual life plans, auto, and home products to answer in-depth questions and provide guidance to clients.</li> <li>Seamlessly implement new clients, coordinate transition from current provider, complete service agreements, facilitate enrollment, ensure policies are issued timely, oversee billing setup accuracy for products and service fees.</li> <li>Apply independent thinking, creative resolutions, and on-the-spot decisions to assure customer satisfaction and ease of doing business.</li> <li>Continually improve efficiency, increase growth in new groups, and reduce expenses.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>5+ years of account management experience with a proven track record of excellent client service.</li> <li>Expertise in benefit administration programs, including Section 125, flexible spending accounts, HSA accounts, voluntary benefits programs, and benefits administration enrollment systems.</li> <li>Insurance industry or Third-party administration experience preferred.</li> <li>High School diploma required; Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree preferred.</li> </ul>
