Overview: <strong>The Underwriting Operations Specialist&nbsp;</strong>will evaluate individual risks against corporate standards to determine acceptability and proper placement.
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Maintain individual production and quality standards.</li> <li>Perform administrative preparation tasks to facilitate processing functions within the administration system. This includes but is not limited to: <ul> <li>Ordering Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) and clue reports,</li> <li>Researching and entering place codes,</li> <li>Matching bills with declarations for Umbrella mailings,</li> <li>Manually loading Umbrella and Dwelling Fire applications,</li> <li>Keying underwriting route sheets, etc.</li> </ul> </li> <li>Support department service level agreements for processing work.</li> <li>Maintain a working knowledge of P&amp;C underwriting philosophes and practices.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Highschool diploma or GED required, some college preferred.</li> <li>P&amp;C product knowledge preferred.</li> </ul>
