In this role, you&rsquo;ll be at the heart of our facility maintenance efforts, diving into everything from essential plumbing and lighting tasks to playing a crucial role in building safety initiatives and tracking key metrics. Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Hone your project management skillset to schedule and oversee projects from inception to completion.</li> <li>Expand beyond routine maintenance to supporting projects across the department, which involves working under deadlines, managing your resources, and coordinating with team members to ensure project goals are met efficiently.</li> <li>Showcase your ability to employ interpersonal skills to collaborate with contractors, vendors, and internal team members.</li> <li>Prioritize safety while executing tasks and contribute to maintaining a safe working environment for all occupants.</li> <li>Assemble new furniture items according to instructions, repair any reported damaged furniture components, adjust furniture to meet ergonomic or aesthetic needs per requests, and manage requests for purchases.</li> <li>Cleaning and maintaining the corporate apartments to the highest standards, handling minor repairs and maintenance tasks as required.</li> <li>Report larger maintenance issues to senior staff, to ensure proper budgeting and handling.</li> <li>Collaborate with other teams &amp; internal customers to ensure efficient service delivery.</li> <li>Monitor and document maintenance activities, primarily for KPI&rsquo;s related to facilities management that are regularly reported to Management and to ensure transparency within the team and across departments.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>High School Diploma or equivalent education.</li> <li>Absolutely, you must be able to identify issues, analyze root causes, and develop effective solutions promptly to minimize downtime and disruption.</li> <li>A working knowledge of how facilities operate on a day-to-day basis, including but not limited to utility management, security systems, and general building maintenance could be immensely helpful.</li> <li>Clear communication is crucial for conveying project requirements, timelines, and expectations.</li> <li>Given the diverse responsibilities&mdash;from maintenance tasks to lobby desk support&mdash;you'll need to be adaptable and willing to learn new skills and processes quickly.</li> <li>Strong problem-solving skills will enable you to troubleshoot maintenance issues, propose solutions, and implement them efficiently to minimize downtime and disruptions.</li> <li>Being open to growth and learning new skills is an essential part of the mentality we cultivate in cohesion with our customers - America&rsquo;s Educators!</li> </ul> <br />
